Wood Engraving Booklet

Here’s a sweet little booklet from the fifties extolling the virtues of wood-engraving as a worthwhile pursuit written by Douglas Bliss. I assume this is one in a series of encouraging pamphlets published by Dryad Press.

Douglas Bliss says; “Given the desire for artistic expression, all that is required for the command of this craft is moderate intelligence, and skill of hand, plus the usual powers of application.”

Good to know that “moderate intelligence” will get you through.
