{"id":471,"date":"2013-01-15T18:55:12","date_gmt":"2013-01-15T18:55:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/naturalmanufactured.com\/?p=471"},"modified":"2013-01-15T20:56:26","modified_gmt":"2013-01-15T20:56:26","slug":"nm-history","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/steins.ca\/naturalmanu\/?p=471","title":{"rendered":"N&#038;M History"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><em>The Natural &amp; the Manufactured<\/em><\/h2>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/steins.ca\/naturalmanu\/?attachment_id=99\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-99\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"NMWebFinal\" src=\"https:\/\/steins.ca\/naturalmanu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/NMWebFinal.jpg\" width=\"550\" height=\"413\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Since 2005, this unique project in the far Canadian north has worked to stimulate and engage people in a re-examination of the various cultural and economic values imposed on the environment, while exploring alternative political, social, economic and aesthetic agendas and strategies towards a re-interpretation of the regional landscape and social infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>As a site of creation, as well as presentation, the\u00a0N&amp;M\u00a0seeks to promote new research and creation projects with participating artists making works specifically for the project while in residence at KIAC&#8217;s Macaulay House studios.
